The Threat Is There. It's Very Real And It's Continuing. And What The Obama People Are Doing, In Effect, Is Saying, Well, We Don't Need Those Tough Policies That We Had. That Says Either They Didn't Work, Which We Know Is Not The Case - They Did Work, They Kept Us Safe For Seven Years - Or That Now Somehow The Threat's Gone Away. There's No Longer A Threat Out There, We Don't Have To Be As Tough And Aggressive As The Bush Administration Was.

I've Worked For Four Presidents And Watched Two Others Up Close, And I Know That There's No Such Thing As A Routine Day In The Oval Office.

The Question In My Mind Is How Many Additional American Casualties Is Saddam Worth? And The Answer Is Not Very Damned Many.

You Know, In This Business, You Don't Have Any Control Over What The Press Says And How They Portray Things. And That's Their Prerogative. But I Think Anybody Who Looks At It Objectively Has Trouble Making The Case That Somehow This Is A Bad Economy.
